New Leaf Search has partnered with a specialist asset-based lender in its search for a Broker Manager.

Location: UK, Scotland (Remote). Ideal locations include Edinburgh or Glasgow.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Asset Finance professional to join a growing specialist lender and take responsibility for developing and managing broker relationships across Scotland.

The successful candidate will focus on originating hard asset finance business through broker channels, with a particular emphasis on developing relationships with Tier 2 brokers. This is a highly autonomous role suited to a self‑motivated business developer who thrives in a remote working environment and enjoys building long‑term introducer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage broker relationships across Scotland
• Generate new hard asset finance opportunities through intermediary channels
• Build and grow relationships with Tier 2 brokers
• Structure and negotiate asset finance solutions for business customers
• Maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
• Identify and convert new introducer relationships
• Manage opportunities from initial enquiry through to completion
• Maintain high levels of service to brokers and customers
• Represent the business within the broker and asset finance marketplace

Candidate Profile

• Proven Asset Finance, Leasing or Commercial Finance experience
• Strong broker management and business development capability
• Experience generating hard asset finance business preferred
• Existing broker relationships within Scotland advantageous
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely
• Commercially aware with strong deal structuring capability
• Driven, proactive and target‑focused approach

We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.

You will also require relevant IN-COUNTRY experience; without which, your application will NOT be considered.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range £70,000 to £85,000, quarterly paid commission with totally uncapped earnings, sensible targets will provide realistic year 1 earnings.
