Accounts Assistant Leeds - LS9 | Office Based | Full-Time | Permanent 37.5 Hours Per Week £30,000 - £32,000 Depending on Experience ST TALENT are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of an established business based in Leeds. This Accounts Assistant role would suit someone with previous experience within a finance or accounts environment who is looking to join a supportive and professional team. The successful Accounts Assistant will support the day-to-day running of the finance function, assisting with invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and maintain customer and supplier accounts • Assess and process new credit applications • Review and adjust customer credit limits where required • Process sales and purchase invoices • Manage supplier payments and customer receipts • Process employee expenses • Carry out bank reconciliations • Support weekly wage processing with training provided • Maintain financial records and spreadsheets • Assist with month-end and year-end reporting activities Requirements: • Previous experience working within an accounts or finance role • Strong numerical and analytical skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Good organisation and time management skills • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities • Understanding of confidentiality within a finance environment • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software What’s on Offer: • £30,000 - £32,000 salary depending on experience • Free on-site parking • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays • Employee discounts scheme • Employee Assistance Programme • Cashback healthcare scheme after 12 months • Pension scheme This vacancy is being advertised by ST TALENT Ltd, an Employment Agency.
