Principal Engineer

Scalers HQ are proud to be partnering with an innovative and fast growing Media organisation in London. We are looking for a Principal JavaScript Engineer/Team Lead to join their collaborative tech team.

You'll play a key role in delivering cutting-edge AdTech analytics solutions, reporting directly to the Head of Engineering and assisting in management of the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-impact environment alongside experienced engineers and product specialists, helping to shape the future of media technology.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architecture and direction for a range of digital products.
Champion engineering, establish and uphold coding best practices.
Collaborate with PM's PO's, designers, and senior stakeholders to shape solutions.
Lead and guide teams on feature breakdown, technical planning, and release processes.
Manage and mentor engineers along with growing a high-performing teams.
Skills & Experience Required
Extensive experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Redux, and Node.js
Strong experience in TDD and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypres/Playright)
A track record in modular system architecture and multi-tenant platform development.
Experience with AWS
Deep understanding of software architecture, security, performance, and continuous delivery.
Agile mindset with experience in cross-functional teams. xwzovoh
