National Grid Authorised Mechanical Fitter

Pay: £30.00 per hour Job description: Active (Pathways) Solutions are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our team. You’ll be supporting substation project in Walpole contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of high-voltage electrical works. Starting on 06/07/26 until at least October £30ph + £50 a night digs if over 50 miles away Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: Valid and up-to-date documentation – National Grid Authorisation, Telehandler with Winch ticket Proven substation experience – previous work on National Grid, Scottish Power or DNO sites is essential. Verifiable references – able to provide evidence of experience and competency within the substation or high-voltage industry.
