About the role
Attribution Search are supporting a leading global alternative asset manager who is seeking 2x Middle Office Associate to join its Operations function on a 9 month contract, with a strong emphasis on private credit, direct lending, and complex loan structures.
This is a dynamic, front-office-aligned role supporting a broad platform of private credit funds, separately managed accounts, and bespoke lending strategies. The position sits at the heart of the investment process, ensuring seamless execution and oversight across the full lifecycle of private loans and credit investments.
Responsibilities
- Act as a critical partner to the investment team, delivering daily liquidity reporting and supporting funding requirements across private credit portfolios.
- Oversee end-to-end operational support for private loans, including trade support, collateral management, asset servicing, and reconciliations
- Manage NAV and P&L validation in collaboration with fund administrators and pricing teams
- Monitor and manage private credit deal pipelines (including revolvers, delayed draw facilities, capital markets loans, and directly originated transactions), ensuring operational readiness and timely deal funding
- Support FX exposure and hedging strategies aligned to multi-currency loan portfolios.
- Maintain and develop counterparty relationships across lenders, agents, and service providers.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies, contributing to strategic projects and operating model enhancements
- Own month-end processes, including cash, position, and income sign-offs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting
Requirements
- 3–7 years’ experience in private credit within middle office, fund operations, or credit operations.
- Strong understanding of private credit products across syndicated and private markets, including complex drawdown mechanics.
- Solid knowledge of fund accounting principles (NAV, P&L) within credit-focused strategies.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment, managing multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence interacting directly with portfolio managers and investment teams
Role will pay £450-650pd.
