Assistant site manager

Assistant Site Manager Remedy Education are looking for a reliable and proactive Assistant Site Manager to join a school setting. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong premises, caretaking or site experience who is confident supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a school site. The school are looking for someone who is hands-on, organised and able to help maintain a safe, clean and secure environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Role Details: Position: Assistant Site Manager Location: Waltham forest Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience Hours: Full-time Start Date: ASAP The Role: As an Assistant Site Manager, you will: * Support the Site Manager with the daily running and maintenance of the school site * Carry out general repairs, maintenance and site checks * Ensure the school premises are safe, secure and well maintained * Assist with opening and locking up the school site when required * Monitor health and safety across the premises * Support with cleaning checks, deliveries and contractor access * Help set up rooms and spaces for school events and daily activities * Report any site issues and respond quickly to maintenance requests * Work closely with the school office, senior leadership team and wider site staff The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Previous caretaking, premises or site experience * Experience working in a school or education setting is desirable * Strong practical maintenance skills * Good knowledge of health and safety procedures * A reliable, flexible and hands-on approach * Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team * Confidence dealing with contractors, staff and visitors * An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Site Manager or school caretaker looking for a full-time role in a supportive school environment.
