We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to manufacture and overhaul precision aircraft components within our landing gear MRO operation. You will operate and program two- and three-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, producing bushes, sleeves, nuts, and related components to tight tolerances. Working from detailed engineering drawings, you will use imperial measuring equipment to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and company procedures. The role also involves component rework and overhaul, maintaining accurate production records, supporting colleagues where required, and adhering to all safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
GCSE level education or equivalent
Fluent written and spoken English
Experience operating two- and three-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
CNC programming experience
Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
Experience using precision imperial measuring equipment
Aerospace manufacturing or MRO experience preferred but not essential
Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Good organisational, planning, and execution skills
Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work
Ability to mentor and support colleagues when required
Commitment to quality, safety, and environmental standards
