Senior Mobile Automation Engineer (SC Cleared)450 per day | Outside IR35 | Remote First | Occasional London TravelWe’re seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Automation Engineer to join a large-scale digital programme, helping shape and deliver modern mobile testing practices across multiple product teams.Working closely with senior engineering and quality stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in driving testing excellence, defining automation strategy, and ensuring high-quality mobile experiences across both iOS and Android platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement mobile automation testing strategies.Build, maintain and improve scalable automation frameworks.Drive quality engineering best practice across multiple teams.Deliver automated end-to-end, integration, regression and API testing.Collaborate with developers, architects, analysts and product stakeholders.Support and mentor other testers within the team.Champion continuous improvement across testing tools, processes and approaches.Influence engineering teams to adopt effective testing and quality practices.Essential Skills & ExperienceActive SC Clearance.Strong commercial experience in mobile test automation.Proven experience testing both iOS and Android applications.Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks.Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.API testing experience.End-to-end testing experience within agile delivery environments.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.Technical EnvironmentExperience with some or all of the following would be advantageous:PlaywrightSeleniumMaestroBrowserStackTypeScriptJavaNode.jsExpressAWSDesirable ExperienceAI application testing.Validation of streamed AI responses.Performance and load testing.Creation of automation frameworks from scratch.Government or large-scale digital services experience.Consultancy or client-facing environments.Contract DetailsDay Rate: 450 per dayIR35 Status: Outside IR35Contract Length: Initial contract through to 31 December 2026Location: Predominantly remote, with occasional travel to London as requiredClearance: Active SC Clearance requiredInterview Process: Single-stage video interviewIf you’re an experienced mobile automation engineer with strong iOS and Android testing expertise and current SC clearance, we’d be interested in hearing from you.Reasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
