General Assistant Tarporley, Cheshire £13.00 per hour Live-in Available – Self-Contained En-Suite Accommodation (£100 per week) Full-Time Permanent Position A beautiful countryside hotel and events venue located near Tarporley is looking for a General Assistant to join its friendly front of house team. This is a hands-on hospitality role with a strong focus on bar service, restaurant service, and guest interaction across the property. This position would suit someone with previous hospitality experience who enjoys working in a busy customer-facing environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. Live-in accommodation is available within self-contained en-suite facilities, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to relocate. Key Responsibilities * Assisting with the day-to-day running of the bar and restaurant operations. * Delivering professional and friendly customer service at all times. * Taking food and drink orders and serving guests efficiently. * Preparing and maintaining bar areas throughout service. * Supporting breakfast, lunch, dinner, and event service when required. * Setting up and clearing restaurant and function areas. * Handling guest enquiries and ensuring a positive customer experience. * Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards throughout front of house areas. * Working closely with the wider hotel team to ensure smooth daily operations. Key Requirements * Previous experience within hospitality, bar, restaurant, or front of house operations preferred. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Positive attitude with a willingness to learn. * Able to work well under pressure in a busy environment. * Flexible approach to shifts, including evenings and weekends. * Smart and professional appearance. * Team player with a strong work ethic.
