We are looking to recruit a Land Manager or Senior Land Manager to join our East Midlands Land team based in Derby. The Land Manager / Senior Land Manager will identify, evaluate and secure land opportunities that meet, or exceed, the business needs for the Region and Area. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Identification of land opportunities, both on and off market, that fit the company’s requirements (as amended from time to time) * Maintaining a comprehensive network of relevant contacts, particularly in the regional operating area(or other as directed) * Progress deals post offer acceptance, including liaison with internal and external parties (e.g. Solicitors) towards exchange of contracts and subsequent legal completion * Engage in appropriate CPD to ensure knowledge of relevant technical/ planning/legal, or other matters relevant to the job, are maintained REQUIREMENTS: * Extensive experience of land acquisition, preferably gained in a private house building environment * Numerate and conversant with Land Appraisal systems, budgets etc. * Able to work on own or as part of a multi-disciplined team * Knowledge of legal, technical and planning matters related to the land acquisition process WHAT WE OFFER: * Competitive basic salary * 26 days annual leave + public holidays + your birthday off * Opportunity to earn 20% / 25% bonus (role dependent) * Company car, or car allowance of £5,500 / £5,850 p/a (role dependent)
