Premises Officer / Caretaker - Full-Time Location: Greenwich, London | 5 Days per Week A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Premises Officer / Caretaker to join a welcoming and well-maintained school in Greenwich. We are looking for a reliable, proactive professional with previous premises/caretaking experience and strong knowledge of school or facilities management. A degree or relevant qualification is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day maintenance, safety and security of the school premises Carry out general repairs, maintenance and basic DIY Complete regular site inspections and ensure facilities are safe and well maintained Liaise with contractors and oversee external works Manage opening, closing and security procedures Support compliance with health and safety requirements Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies Assist with general site and facilities management duties as requiredThe Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a Premises Officer, Caretaker, Site Manager or similar role Strong practical knowledge of building maintenance and site management Reliable, organised and proactive with excellent attention to detail Able to work independently and manage competing priorities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience within a school or educational setting is desirable Relevant degree or qualification preferredIf you are an experienced premises professional looking for a stable, rewarding role within a supportive school environment with opportunities to progress, we would love to hear from you. #INDLSS
