Childcare Social Worker - Children in Need

Our client Leicester City Council is looking for a Childcare Social Worker to join their Children in Need team. Responsibilities Works with children and families where additional support is needed to improve wellbeing and safety Completes Child in Need assessments and develops support plans Identifies risks, strengths, and needs within families Provides direct support and intervention to children and parents Monitors children's development, safety, and welfare through regular visits Works to prevent family breakdown and reduce escalation to child protection Coordinates services and support from education, health, and community agencies Attends multi-agency meetings, Child in Need reviews, and planning meetings Maintains accurate case records and statutory documentation Builds positive relationships with children and families to promote change Safeguards children in line with legislation, policies, and procedures Works collaboratively with professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and young peopleBenefits of working with Remedy A personal one-one service from your highly experienced dedicated consultant.
