- The role can be hybrid following successful probation with the 60:40 split office/home There will be required to travel around mainland at least weekly and then to NI / ROI occasionally Monday
- Thursday, 8:30am
- 5:00pm & Friday, 8.30am
- 4.00pm.

Reporting to the Group SHE Manager, you will act as the primary point of contact for all safety, health, and environmental matters within the region, ensuring adherence to current legislation and internal policies.
You will assist in conducting risk assessments and identifying ways to reduce risk, whilst supporting the maintenance of our ISO Integrated Management System. xwzovoh
Beyond this, you will develop health and safety strategies and internal policies and conduct regular inspections across sites and offices to ensure proper implementation.
About You To be considered as a SHE Officer, you will need: NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety and/or NEBOSH Health & Safety Management for Construction (UK) H&S or equivalent/higher Level 3 Certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent At least three years' recent and relevant experience within the UK construction and/or mechanical/electrical engineering industry Knowledge of CDM, LOLER, PUWER, Electricity at Work Act and Gas Safety Regulations Experience in formulating policies and risk assessments Experience of implementing, monitoring, reviewing and auditing safety processes Knowledge/experience of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 Effective IT skills and competency in Microsoft Office Packages Full current UK Driving Licence required to fulfil duties of the role, to include travel across UK sites
