Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Talentmark are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, to join a chemicals and materials manufacturer, at their site based near Sheffield, on a full time, permanent basis. The Company: Our client is a leading provider of specialty metals, alloys, and materials. Salary: Up to £51,000 per annum plus benefits package.  Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 12 hour day and night shifts. Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role: Your main duties will be to: Diagnose and repair equipment/plant faults, to minimise plant downtime. Ensure all breakdowns are carried out constructively and accurately. Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks. Work closely with production to achieve production needs. Comply with company procedures and work in a safe and professional manner.  Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience: BTEC qualified in an electrical engineering discipline and/or relevant experience, training, or certification. Minimum 3 years’ experience within a medium/heavy manufacturing environment, although other industrial environments would be considered. Demonstrable hands-on knowledge of electrical and PLC control systems (PLC programming experience not essential) Mechanical experience would be advantageous.Apply: It is essential all applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
