Teaching Assistant

Location: Nelson, Lancashire
Salary: £80–£90 per day
Job Type: Temporary / Flexible Supply

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated individuals who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development.

You will work closely with teaching staff to provide classroom support, help pupils engage with their learning and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting pupils with their learning and development across the classroom.

Working alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.

*

Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.

*

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs and SEND where appropriate.

*

Encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining classroom expectations.

*

Helping to create a safe, welcoming and supportive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

*

A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification.

*

Previous experience working within a school setting is highly desirable.

*

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

*

A patient, flexible and supportive approach.

*

The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

*

A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
