THE ROLEWe have a new opportunity for a talented Account Director to join our award-winning global Brand Consulting team.This is an exciting and dynamic role leading one of our flagship accounts in London. Our client is a global airline with an extensive portfolio of parternships across multiple sports and markets.Reporting into the Vice President and working alongside other senior account leaders, the Account Director will need to draw upon their knowledge and experience working across a diverse spectrum of sporting properties, to help advise and guide the client on the best way to utlise and optimise their contractual rights and assets to deliver results that drive impact and attention.We are looking for a strategically-minded account and marketing leader with experience in managing a team across multiple partnerships and regions. Someone that can not only demonstrate the requisite organisational skills and attention to detail to manage an account, but also the passion and confidence to bring fresh and innovative thinking to help our client achieve its commercial and brand objectives.Due to the global nature of the account, the Account Director will be required to travel for client meetings, events and activations. As the CAA Brand Consulting business continues to grow, the individual will also have the opportunity to work on additional projects.As an Account Director at CAA Brand Consulting you will be expected to:Lead day-to-day operations, client reporting and budgetingDevelop a strong and supportive sense of leadership with the internal account teamBuild strong relationships with senior clients, rights holders and suppliersBe a true sports marketing consultant – providing strategic advise based on experience and insightDemonstrate excellent management skills to drive value for a client’s brand across a range of disciplines from creative development and content creation, to rights and activation deliveryBecome the custodian of an actionable strategy that maximises partnership assets, aligning with the brand and business objectivesProject manage campaign activations from ideation to executionEvent management and logistics including driver appearancesWork closely with different stakeholders including rights holders, agency teams (Creative, Strategy, Planning, and Brand), external agenciesBe accountable to client KPI’s and measure campaign effectiveness to demonstrate ROINetworking events and supporting with business development when requiredQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTSHave a desire to challenge the norm and be inquisitive around new opportunitiesMust have significant agency or in-house experience at a client/campaign lead levelDemonstrable exposure to strategic decision making, campaign planning, communications, asset development, amplification and event management is vitalBe open and willing to travel for meetings, events and activations as neededExperience in digital marketing, including devising and implementing global digital campaignsBroad sport sponsorship experience is requiredStrong people management, client servicing, account handling and project management skillsMust have an organised and detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressureand to tight deadlines, juggling multiple projects simultaneouslyCreative flair with a passion for ideas and innovative thinkingTeam player with the ability to lead, organise, provide direction and feedbackConfident communicator with exceptional presentation skillsPlease ensure you provide complete and legible information in your application.
