Senior Applications Developer - Local Authority

My client in Essex are looking to appoint a talented Senior Applications Developer on a Contract basis.

This role will lead, monitor, optimise and continuously improve the delivery of software components so that the organisation can provide simple user experiences and achieve better outcomes for people and businesses.

• Salary: £500 per day, inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience

About the role:

Based in Essex (Hybrid):

• Developing and optimising software components that simplify user experiences
• Writing clean, accessible, open-by-default code that's easy to maintain and reuse
• Managing the end-to-end delivery of applications that support real outcomes for communities and businesses
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet user needs and business goals

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Extensive experience in a similar role
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600.
• Proficiency with JSON, Power Fx, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL.
• Local Authority experience is essential
