About the role

We are seeking a commercially focused Head of Sales & Marketing to lead the delivery of our divisional sales and marketing approach, aligned to wider business strategy.

This role is focused on driving performance through consistent frameworks, strong governance, and capability building across all regions. Working through influence rather than direct line management, you will enable Regional Sales Directors and Marketing Managers to deliver high-quality, locally responsive results within a clear divisional framework.

You will play a key leadership role in improving commercial performance, customer experience, and operational consistency, while providing insight and recommendations to the Divisional Chair and senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Delivery

  • Lead implementation of the divisional sales and marketing approach
  • Translate strategy into clear plans and actionable priorities
  • Provide data-led insight and commercial recommendations

Governance & Frameworks

  • Establish and embed best-practice sales, marketing, and customer journey frameworks
  • Maintain clear governance, standards, and a "freedom within a framework" approach

Enablement & Performance

  • Support and challenge regional teams to drive performance
  • Provide toolkits, guidance, and best practice to enable delivery
  • Monitor performance, using insight to identify improvements and opportunities

Marketing & Customer

  • Lead the consistent application of brand, proposition, and marketing strategy
  • Define customer journey standards and drive continuous improvement

Systems & Capability

  • Oversee effective use of CRM and data systems
  • Build capability and promote consistent ways of working across teams

Culture & Compliance

  • Champion company values and ensure compliance with key policies and standards

About You

  • Significant experience in a senior sales and marketing role within a multi-site or regional environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving performance
  • Experience implementing frameworks and driving consistency across dispersed teams
  • Strong understanding of marketing, CRM, and customer journey management
  • Data-driven, with the ability to turn insight into action
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
