About the role

Location: Taunton | £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (DOE) Siamo Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Dispatch Manager to join a friendly and well-established local company based on the outskirts of Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading a team, keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and efficiently . The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the dispatch operation, overseeing warehouse shipping, order picking and courier coordination. Working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week. Key Responsibilities Manage and provide day-to-day direction to the dispatch and warehouse team. Plan and monitor outbound orders, ensuring priorities and deadlines are met. Supervise the picking, packing and preparation of customer orders to maintain accuracy and quality. Monitor dispatch schedules and ensure goods leave the site on time. Ensure warehouse and dispatch procedures are followed correctly. Support the team with any operational issues, identifying practical solutions when problems arise. Communicate effectively with colleagues, drivers, couriers and other departments to keep the operation running smoothly. Monitor workloads and respond effectively to changes in demand throughout the day. Help maintain high standards of customer service by ensuring orders are prepared and dispatched correctly.About You We're looking for someone with previous experience supervising or managing a warehouse team, ideally within a fast-paced dispatch or distribution environment. The successful candidate will be: Experienced in leading a warehouse or dispatch team within a busy operational environment. Diligent and able to maintain high standards of accuracy and organisation. Qualified to operate a forklift. Highly organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities. Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change. A practical problem solver who can remain calm and make effective decisions under pressure.
