Job Description HGV Class 1 Drivers Location: Lutterworth, LE17 4XH Job Type: Full Time | Ongoing Work | Ad Hoc Shifts Available \n Barker Ross is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client based in Lutterworth (LE17) . We have a range of ongoing full-time positions as well as ad hoc shifts available. \n All drivers must successfully complete a driving assessment before starting their first shift. \n The Role \n We have a variety of work available, including: \n Early Morning Trunking \n \n Start times between 00:00 and 03:00 \n RDC to RDC deliveries \n 1 delivery and 1 collection \n Nationwide routes \n No handball \n Pallet deliveries using an electric pallet truck \n \n Day & Afternoon Deliveries \n \n Start times between 06:30 and 14:30 \n RDC deliveries across the UK \n 1 delivery and 1 collection \n Handball involved, including food delivered in baskets and the collection of cages and trolleys \n \n Night Trunks \n \n Start times between 18:30pm and 23:00hours \n RDC to RDC deliveries \n 2 delivery and 1 collection \n Nationwide routes \n No handball \n Pallet deliveries using an electric pallet truck \n \n Shift Patterns \n The following are examples of the shift patterns available: \n \n Monday to Friday – 12:20pm starts \n 4 on / 4 off – 21:00pm \n 4 on / 4 off – 22:00pm \n Thursday to Sunday – Midday start \n Thursday to Monday – 11:30am starts \n 4 on / 4 off – 00:30am starts \n \n Please note: Drivers must be flexible and available to start 1–2 hours earlier or finish 1–2 hours later than their scheduled shift when required to meet operational needs. \n Requirements \n \n Minimum 6 months' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience \n Valid Category C+E licence \n Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card \n No IN10 or DR10 endorsements \n Maximum of 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes) \n \n What We Offer \n \n Ongoing, reliable work \n Full-time and ad hoc opportunities \n Flexible working patterns \n Weekly bookings \n Competitive rates of pay \n On-site parking \n \n If you're a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Driver looking for your next opportunity in Lutterworth, apply today with Barker Ross.
