Entra Identiity Engineer

We are looking for an experienced IAM/Identity Consultant to support a major identity and access management programme a role that sits between IAM architecture, business processes and technical delivery. You will work closely with technical teams, application owners, business stakeholders and external vendors todefine how identities, access and provisioning should work across the environment.

Key Responsibilities
Assess current IAM capabilities across Entra ID, Active Directory, provisioning, access management and governance.
Create Visio process diagrams, capability views and current/future-state designs to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
Define standards and processes for identity provisioning, SSO, application integration and identity governance.
Review and standardise the management of break-glass/emergency accounts, including password storage, MFA and governance.
Work with application teams and external vendors to define identity provisioning and governance for internal and external users.
Define approaches for Entra ID provisioning, SSO and enterprise application integration.
Work with Digital/Industrialisation teams to develop the end-to-end Joiner, Mover and Leaver process.
Help establish a persona-led, policy-driven and data-driven approach to identity management.
Work with application owners and stakeholders on wider SSO and automated provisioning integrations.
Create, publish and support adoption of IAM standards covering SSO, provisioning and identity data models.
Review the existing AWS identity and access model, making recommendations around governance, PIM, Permission Sets, inheritance, provisioning and automation.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and third-party vendors to agree practical identity solutions.

Key Expertise:
Strong background in IAM/Identity Architecture, IAM Consulting or Identity & Access Management.
Strong Microsoft Entra ID /Azure AD and Active Directory experience.
Good understanding of identity governance, provisioning, access management and JML processes.
Experience with SSO, enterprise applications and application identity integration.
Understanding of privileged access, PIM and break-glass account management.
Experience designing and documenting current/future-state processes, capability models and IAM standards, ideally using Visio.
Comfortable working across technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party vendors.

This is not purely a hands-on engineering role; strong architecture, governance, documentation and stakeholder management skills are important.
