Children's Social Worker- Safeguarding [Oldham]

Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children's Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Undertake safeguarding assessments and interventions to protect children and young people from harm and reduce risk.
• Manage child protection, children in need and pre-proceedings cases, ensuring plans are outcome-focused and child-centred.
• Work directly with children and families to identify strengths, address concerns and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to coordinate effective safeguarding plans and multi-agency support.
• Prepare high-quality assessments, court reports and statutory documentation in line with legislation and best practice.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage a complex caseload, ensuring timely decision-making and compliance with statutory requirements.

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
