Registered Children’s Home Manager (Permanent)

Job Description Creating a home where children feel safe, supported and able to make positive progress starts with strong leadership. As the Registered Manager, you'll take responsibility for an Ofsted-registered service in Redbridge, leading the team and maintaining the standards children deserve.\n \nThis is specifically for someone with previous experience managing an Ofsted-registered children's home for children under 18. Experience limited to supported living, adult social care or 16+ supported accommodation will not meet the requirements.\n What's in it for you \n \n \n £50,000 per annum salary \n Visa sponsorship available for candidates who require a change/switch of sponsorship \n Permanent, full-time position with responsibility for an established residential service \n Opportunity to lead and develop a residential childcare team \n Scope to directly influence safeguarding, care quality and outcomes for children \n East London location, with relocation welcomed where required \n Your responsibilities: \n \n \n Lead the day-to-day operation of the home, maintaining high standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance \n Ensure the service operates in line with Ofsted regulations and residential childcare standards \n Oversee care planning and ensure children receive safe, appropriate and consistent support \n Lead, support and develop the residential childcare team to maintain effective service delivery \n Maintain robust safeguarding practices, policies, records and quality standards \n Drive continuous improvement and maintain readiness for Ofsted inspections \n What we're looking for in a Registered Manager \n \n \n Previous experience as an Ofsted-registered manager of a children's home supporting children under 18 - experience solely within 16+ supported accommodation, supported living or adult social care will not be considered \n Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, care planning and residential childcare standards \n Experience leading and developing teams within a residential childcare setting; experience managing a service rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted is desirable \n Good written and spoken English, plus a full UK driving licence and the ability to drive \n Candidates must currently require a change/switch of visa sponsorship and be willing to relocate to East London if required \n Working hours - 5 days per week, fully on-site; specific daily working hours\n \nIf you have the Ofsted-registered children's home management background required and want to lead a service where the quality of care genuinely matters, apply today for the Registered Manager position.\This will include holding and sharing your personal data, our legal basis for this is legitimate interest subject to your declared interest in a job.
