Health and Social Care Teacher - Supply (Full-Time / Part-Time) Location: Bradford & Calderdale Pay: Daily rate to scale Contract Type: Long-term supply (with potential ongoing opportunities) About the Role Academics are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Health and Social Care Teachers to work on a full-time or part-time supply basis across secondary schools and colleges in Bradford and Calderdale. This role involves delivering engaging lessons in Health and Social Care through long-term placements, supporting students to achieve their academic and vocational goals. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons Assess, monitor, and report on student progress Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Support students' academic and personal development Work collaboratively with school staff and departments Maintain high standards of classroom management Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification Experience teaching Health and Social Care (BTEC, OCR, or similar) Strong classroom management skills A commitment to safeguarding and student welfare Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What We Offer Daily pay rate to scale Flexible working - full-time or part-time options Long-term, consistent placements Supportive and experienced consultants Opportunities in a range of local schools and colleges Why Work with Academics?
