They are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative R&D team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer who has gained some initial industry experience and is ready to take the next step in their career towards a more mid-level position. You'll have the opportunity to build on your existing technical skills, take on greater responsibility and contribute to the development of innovative engineering solutions. You will be responsible for producing mechanical designs for a range of products and applications in 3D and 2D using SolidWorks, working alongside an experienced team to develop your skills and technical knowledge. Responsibilities: Develop design concepts using 2D drawings, 3D models and prototypes. Produce engineering drawings, specifications, BOM structures, part lists and costings. Manage multiple design tasks at once, developing your ability to take ownership of projects. Work with purchasing on costings for parts. Contribute to design and development activities within the R&D team, building experience and taking on increasing responsibility.
