General Foreman - Water Location: Winchester area Rate: £400 per day, Inside IR35, depending on experience Duration: 12 months+ / ongoing Sector: Water The Role A leading infrastructure and engineering contractor is looking for an experienced General Foreman to join its construction team on a key water project near Winchester. This is a long-term opportunity supporting the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering and construction activities on site. Due to the nature of the project, candidates must have previous experience working as a General Foreman or Site Supervisor within the UK water sector. Experience with either a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor will be considered, provided you have worked on projects associated with UK Water Authorities. Key Responsibilities General management of construction and civil engineering activities Daily allocation of plant, labour and materials Coordination of site activities and subcontractors Managing the site workforce to ensure safe working practices Ensuring works are delivered with minimal environmental impact Ensuring deliveries are stored safely to protect staff, the public and site equipment Ensuring appropriate PPE is available and correctly used Assisting with the production and review of method statements Supporting site health, safety, quality and compliance requirements Requirements Previous experience as a General Foreman or Site Supervisor Strong civil engineering / construction background Previous experience working on UK water projects Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors SSSTS/ SMSTS or CSCS Supervisor Card What's on Offer £400 per day  Inside IR35 Long-term contract, 12 months+ / ongoing Opportunity to work on a major water project near Winchester If you are interested, please apply with an updated CV and we will be in touch.
