Job Description Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division - a new era of mobile repair! \A competitive base salary of £45,378 (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance, if applicable), with on-target earnings of up to £57,000. \Guaranteed overtime options to boost your earnings, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities. \Work a 40-hour week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and just 1 in 4 Saturdays. \Our Service, Maintenance & Repair (SMR) division is a fast-growing part of the RAC, dedicated to delivering planned, structured repair and servicing directly to our members—whether at their driveway or workplace car park. \Forget emergency callouts and unpredictable shifts! Here, you’ll work through a scheduled list of jobs, equipped with the time, tools, and support you need to deliver quality work. \Your day kicks off with a clear digital schedule. In-depth repairs typically done in a workshop \n Member advice and recommendations based on your inspection \n With SMR, you’re not reacting to breakdowns; From day one, you’ll have everything you need: a fully equipped RAC van, fuel card, uniform, full tool set, and advanced diagnostics.
