Trainee Furnace Operator

Taskmaster Resources LTD are currently looking for a Trainee Furnace Operator based in LS10, Hunslet for a busy manufacturer. Temporary ongoing position.

Basic shifts - MON - THURS 8am - 5pm and FRI 8am - 4pm however the right candidate must be flexible to work extra hours ( weekends and nights ) if required. Starting rate of £14.20 per hour
Key Duties:
- To support theFurnaceSupervisor in the running and checking of thefurnaces
- Start up and shut downfurnace
- Monitor and adjustfurnacecontrol panel as and when required
- Deal with any production faults
- Change miller screens, clean out vacuums and filters
- Monitor readings running levels for the type of glass flake required
- Communicate & liaise with R & D engineers & manager
- Ensure production targets are reached & record average stats xwzovoh and totals produced
- General fault finding and troubleshooting whilefurnaceis running
