Class 1 HGV Driver (Nights)

Job Description Class 1 HGV Driver/n /n /nPertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based out of East Midlands Gateway where they pay daily OT rates. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work to other company sites, NDC's and RDC's. This is clean work with no handball and presents long term work for Class 1 HGV Drivers. There will be opportunities to be taken on permanent as well should that be a pathway you'd like to explore. /n /n Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available: + Nights - Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday/n /n The successful Class 1 Driver will:/n /n+ Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months/n /n+ Have a valid tacho and DQC card/n /n+ Have a positive can do attitude/n /n Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:/n /n+ Trunking goods around the UK - No handball/n /n+ Trailer swaps and backloads/n /n You will receive:/n /n+ Nights - £19.40 per hour/n /n+ Nights OT after 9.6 hours daily - £29.10 per hour/n /n+ 6th shift - £29.10 per hour/n /n Benefit of working with Pertemps: /n /n+ Weekly or monthly pay - you choose/n /n+ Pension/n /n+ Annual leave/n /n+ 24/7 worker support/n /n+ Mortgage references /n /n To apply for the Class 1 HGV Driver role, please submit an up to date CV or call us on 01332 363000 to discuss the opportunity further.
