Production Manager - Windows and Doors

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join a small but growing manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire.

This is an excellent growth opportunity for an ambitious and hands-on Production Manager who wants to make a real impact within a developing business. You will play a key role in managing day-to-day production operations, developing the existing team and helping drive the business forward.

The Role

Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing production activities, ensuring targets are achieved and maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency and output.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Managing and coordinating day-to-day manufacturing operations.

* Leading, motivating and developing a small production team.

* Planning workloads and ensuring production schedules are achieved.

* Monitoring productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

* Identifying opportunities for process improvements.

* Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.

* Working closely with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience within window and composite door manufacturing is ESSENTIAL.

We are specifically looking for someone with a strong understanding of the manufacturing processes associated with windows and composite doors.

You will also demonstrate:

* Previous experience in a Production Manager or similar supervisory/management position.

* Strong leadership and people management skills.

* Excellent organisational and planning abilities.

* A practical, hands-on approach.

* The ability to work in a growing business where flexibility and initiative are important.
