Deputy Manager – Clinical Location – Diss, Norfolk Salary - £45,000 Perm / Full Time / Nursing Home Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to take the next step in your management career? We are recruiting for a Clinical Deputy Manager to join a well-established nursing home, working alongside the Home Manager to lead the clinical team and ensure residents receive outstanding, person-centred care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager or strong clinical leader who enjoys being hands-on, supporting nursing teams and maintaining high standards across all areas of clinical care. The Role As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will: * Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home * Provide strong clinical leadership to Nurses and Care staff * Take responsibility for the service in the Home Manager's absence * Ensure care is delivered in line with CQC standards and best practice * Mentor, supervise and support the development of the clinical team * Complete clinical audits and ensure actions are followed through * Review care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation * Oversee medication management and ensure safe clinical practice * Support pre-admission assessments and ongoing reviews of residents' needs * Work closely with GPs, healthcare professionals, families and external agencies * Promote a positive culture focused on dignity, choice and quality of life About You To be considered, you will need: * NMC registration as an RGN or RMN * Previous experience as a Deputy Manager within a nursing home * Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory standards * Excellent clinical knowledge and leadership skills * Experience supporting and developing nursing and care teams * Good understanding of safeguarding procedures * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * A genuine passion for delivering high-quality elderly care What's On Offer?
