Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Male Location: Tower Hamlets, East London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract: Full-time / Term-time only About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a vibrant, high-achieving academy in East London for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. Key Responsibilities * Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons * Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils, including those with additional needs * Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment * Assisting with behaviour management and pastoral support * Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development * Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs and pastoral teams What We're Looking For * Experience working with children or young people (school setting preferred but not essential) * Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting pupil progress * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * A proactive, flexible approach to classroom support * Relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 TA qualification) desirable but not essential Why Apply * Supportive, well-resourced school environment * Ongoing training and CPD opportunities * Genuine opportunities for progression within the school * The chance to make a lasting impact on pupils' lives We are committed to building a diverse workforce that reflects our pupil community.
