Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a friendly, close-knit accountancy firm in the recruitment of a Semi-Senior Accountant with to join their growing team across their Greater Manchester or Wigan office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified professional looking to broaden their experience across accounts and tax within a supportive and collaborative environment. The role will have a stronger focus on accounts preparation and tax across a varied client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs
• Prepare VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts for a varied client base
• Assist with corporation tax and personal tax compliance work
• Build strong relationships with clients and respond to day-to-day queries
• Work closely with Managers and Director across a broad range of assignments

Key Requirements

• AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified
• Minimum 2+ years' experience within an UK accountancy practice
• Knowledge of FRS102 and FRS105
