About the role
Production Planner Our client is recruiting a Production Planner to support the continued growth of an established bakery manufacturer. The successful Production Planner will develop and manage production schedules, balancing customer demand, stock levels, labour availability and production capacity while helping to improve efficiency and minimise waste. Based onsite in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with Production, Technical and Commercial teams in a fast paced manufacturing environment. A flexible approach to working hours is required. Top 3 Things to Know About This Job Salary of £33,000 to £35,000. Onsite role based in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland. Play a key role in production efficiency, stock availability and customer delivery performance. The Role: * Develop and maintain daily and weekly production plans. * Sequence schedules to optimise efficiency and manage changeovers. * Adjust plans in response to downtime, shortages and changes in demand. * Monitor performance against plan and analyse KPIs including OTIF, MLOR and attainment. * Maintain accurate planning data within ERP systems and support stock control. * Work with Production, Technical and Commercial teams to ensure plans are achievable. * Support food safety, audit readiness, continuous improvement and new product development trials. The Person: * Experience in production planning. * Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and data modelling. * Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills. * Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution focused approach. * Two A Level qualifications at Grade C or above, or equivalent. * GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above, or equivalent. * Food manufacturing experience, ERP or MRP knowledge and Power BI experience are desirable. * Flexibility to work varying hours.
