Alternative Provision Tutors Required (Primary) - Hereford Location: Hereford Role: Alternative Provision Tutor Age group: Primary-aged pupils Setting: Homes and community settings Employer: Working via Quantum Scholars Quantum Scholars are looking for experienced and committed Alternative Provision Tutors to support primary-aged pupils in Hereford. This role will involve providing 1:1 tuition in pupils' homes and community settings, supporting children who may be unable to access their usual school placement or who require additional support with their learning, confidence and engagement. We are particularly interested in hearing from tutors who can support pupils with English, Maths and general primary curriculum learning. The role would suit teachers, tutors or education professionals who are confident working with primary-aged children and able to provide patient, engaging and personalised support. The role will involve: Providing 1:1 tuition to primary-aged pupils Planning and delivering engaging, personalised sessions Supporting pupils with English, Maths and wider primary curriculum learning Helping children build confidence, routine and positive learning habits Adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs Supporting pupils who may have barriers to learning or need a more personalised approach Working closely with Quantum Scholars and relevant professionals to support each pupil's progress We are looking for tutors who: Have experience teaching, tutoring or supporting primary-aged pupils Can deliver English and Maths confidently at primary level Are patient, reliable and able to build positive relationships with children Can provide engaging, structured and nurturing tuition Are able to adapt sessions to suit individual learning needs and abilities Have experience supporting pupils who may need additional academic or pastoral support Are comfortable working in homes and community-based environments Experience in Alternative Provision, SEND, SEMH support, behaviour support, mentoring, or re-engagement work would be highly desirable.
