CNC Operator (Training up to Setter / Operator) Location: Cannock, Staffordshire – WS11 1SN Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm) Hourly Rate: £14 - £15 per hour About The Company The company is a Cannock-based precision engineering and manufacturing company specialising in the production of high-quality fasteners, including nuts, bolts, and bespoke threaded components. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a range of CNC lathes to manufacture precision fasteners, nuts, bolts, and threaded components to customer specifications. This role is ideal for someone who's got experience operating CNC machines, and would like to take the next step to learn how to set the machines, and eventually learn how to program. Key Responsibilities * Operating a range of CNC lathes. * Manufacture precision fasteners, nuts, bolts, and threaded components. * Read and interpret engineering drawings. * Complete production and quality documentation accurately * Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment * Carry out routine machine maintenance and daily checks Essential Skills & Experience * Previous experience operating CNC machinery is required. * Ability to read engineering drawings. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality What We Offer * Competitive salary dependent on experience * Stable Monday–Friday day shift pattern * Overtime opportunities available * Company pension scheme * On-site parking * Training and development opportunities into a senior management position * Opportunity to join a growing UK manufacturing business
