Nursery Assistant

We are working with a welcoming primary school in Bedford (MK42) who are seeking a Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join their Early Years team on a short‑term basis. This is a great opportunity to support within a structured nursery setting within a primary school, working with young children in a nurturing and engaging environment. Location: Bedford, MK42 Start Date: ASAP (from 2nd July) End Date: 17th July (end of term) Role: Level 3 Nursery Assistant Contract: Full‑time, short‑term Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30-3:30pm Key Responsibilities: * Support children within the Nursery / Early Years setting * Assist with learning, development, and daily routines * Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities * Maintain a safe and nurturing environment * Work closely with Early Years staff About You: * Level 3 childcare qualification (essential) * Experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting * Strong understanding of the EYFS framework * Patient, caring, and proactive approach * Able to commit for the full duration of the role Why Join This Role? * Supportive and welcoming school environment * Short‑term role with clear dates * Opportunity to gain valuable Early Years experience * Well‑structured nursery setting * School hours, term time only * Pontential to continue in September
