Interim Payroll Manager

Delighted to be partnered with a well established business to support the recruitment of a Interim Payroll Manager Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll operations across: Weekly payroll/Monthly payroll Process high-volume payroll for approximately 1,600 UK employees Ensure all payrolls are delivered accurately and in line with deadlines and compliance requirements Supervise a team of 3 payroll staff, providing guidance and support Manage payroll queries and resolve escalations efficiently Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation (tax, NI, pensions, statutory payments) Maintain and validate payroll data integrity within the system Produce and review payroll reports, reconciliations, and submissions Work closely with HR and Finance to ensure smooth payroll operations Key Requirements Proven experience in a Payroll Manager or Senior Payroll position Strong experience managing high-volume payroll (1,000 employees preferred) Hands-on experience processing both weekly and monthly payrolls Essential: Sage Payroll experience Previous experience managing or mentoring a small team Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation Excellent attention to xwzovoh detail and ability to work under pressure If you are interested, please apply or email your CV to me
