Support Worker – Adults & Families 📍 Truro, Cornwall 💷 £15.34 per hour 🕒 37 hours per week 📅 5 Month Contract We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to join a dedicated Adults & Families service based in Truro. This is a rewarding opportunity supporting vulnerable adults within a community-focused environment. Please note there will be an expectation to cover additional schemes across Cornwall, therefore applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle. The Role Supporting individuals with a variety of support needs Delivering person-centred support and support planning Risk assessing and managing challenging situations Maintaining accurate records and case notes Lone working as well as working collaboratively within a team Building positive relationships with service users and partner agencies Requirements Experience within support work, housing support, social care or similar settings Understanding of support planning and risk management Strong communication and rapport-building skills Confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records Resilient, adaptable and able to work under pressure Flexible approach to shifts including lates, weekends and bank holidays Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Additional Information Rolling 5-week rota pattern Enhanced DBS required Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the contract This role is not eligible for sponsorship/CoS If you are passionate about supporting vulnerable people and making a positive difference within the community, we’d love to hear from you.
