Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire Contract: Full-Time, Temporary/Permanent Salary: £34,398 – £52,490 (M1 – UPS3) Start Date: September 2026 Are you a passionate and creative Art teacher ready to inspire students? Supply Desk is looking for a qualified and experienced Art teacher to join a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) in Hemel Hempstead from September 2026. This role offers the opportunity to teach KS3 and KS4 students in a supportive, specialist environment. Roles and Responsibilities: As an Art Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across KS3 and KS4, tailored to students’ needs. Plan and deliver lessons in line with departmental schemes of work and curriculum objectives. Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students in a PRU setting. Track and assess student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback. Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential. Experience teaching Art to KS3 and KS4 students. Excellent classroom management skills, especially in alternative education or PRU settings. Ability to inspire creativity and confidence in students. A collaborative and adaptable team player.
