Class Teacher
Location: CF23, CardiffStart Date: 1st September 2026Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pmPay: £172.98 per day (paid weekly)
About the School
This welcoming two-form entry primary school in the CF23 area offers both mainstream education and a dedicated wellbeing base, supporting a wide range of pupil needs.
The year group for this role is flexible and will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and strengths.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate and committed Class Teacher who will:
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner, continuously striving to improve teaching and learning
- Set high expectations to ensure all pupils reach their full potential
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Additional Learning Needs (ALN) to support inclusive practice
- Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, staff, governors, and external professionals
- Implement effective and positive behaviour management strategies
- Contribute as part of a dedicated and supportive team
- Use innovative resources, including ICT, to enhance learning
- Uphold and promote the school’s values and ethos
- Show a strong understanding of Curriculum for Wales and its impact on teaching and learning
- Take an active role in whole school life
