Engineering Procurement Coordinator/ Assistant Buyer

Your new company As an Engineering Procurement Coordinator / Assistant Buyer, you will support the end-to-end procurement process within the engineering team.Join a diversified international organisation operating across multiple global markets, with a strong presence in engineering and procurement. Based in their London office, you will be part of a collaborative and growing team supporting international supply chains, primarily across the Middle East. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to global sourcing across Europe and the Far East, with clear long-term career progression. Your new role Preparing and issuing RFQs based on internal stakeholder requirements Analysing and comparing supplier quotations Negotiating pricing, lead times and commercial terms Raising and processing purchase orders Managing supplier relationships and monitoring delivery schedules Producing reports and maintaining accurate data within SAP Supporting administrative tasks including documentation, correspondence and database management What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or a commercial admin role Strong numerical and analytical skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Confident communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP) is highly desirable Understanding of procurement principles, INCO terms or international trade (advantageous) A proactive, flexible attitude with a willingness to learn What you'll get in return Opportunity to work within an international procurement environment Exposure to global supply chains across Europe and the Far East Clear career progression within buying and procurement Supportive, collaborative team environment Competitive salary and benefits package 4 days office, 1 day WFH What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
