Warehouse Assistant Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm £13.50 per hour Swadlincote Pertemps Burton is currently recruiting a Warehouse Assistant on behalf of a well-established client based in Swadlincote. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hands-on individual to join a successful and friendly team in a temporary to permanent, full-time position. The role is based within the manufacturing workshop and combines warehouse, stores, and logistics duties. Key Responsibilities: Receiving, unloading, and booking in deliveries Scanning and filing delivery documentation in line with procedures Packing, wrapping, and preparing goods for dispatch Producing dispatch labels and paperwork Updating carrier software with delivery details Moving stock within the warehouse and between company sites Carrying out stock checks and updating the company MRP system Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse Supporting the upkeep and maintenance of company vehiclesCandidate Requirements: Must be aged 23 or over for insurance purposes Full, clean UK driving licence required Strong attention to detail, particularly with stock handling and data entry Self-motivated, dependable, and organised Good IT skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks Forklift licence beneficial but not essentialThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a growing industrial and manufacturing business.
