This is a strategic appointment within a large, well established national team advising employers, HR professionals and senior executives across a broad range of contentious and non contentious matters.The team forms part of the wider Corporate Division and is known for delivering technically excellent, commercially focused advice to major public and private sector clients. With a strong national footprint and a collaborative culture, this is an excellent opportunity for an Associate (3-6 PQE) or Senior Associate (6+ PQE) looking to develop within a high performing employment practice.The RoleYou will advise on a wide range of employment matters, including:Employment support on corporate transactions (M&A, TUPE, outsourcing, reorganisations)Advising large employer clients on day to day HR and workforce management issuesManaging Employment Tribunal litigation (unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract)Advising on workplace investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters and misconduct allegationsDesigning and advising on whistleblowing procedures, investigations and governance issuesAdvising on capability, performance management, restructuring and redundancy processesActing for senior executives on recruitment, service agreements, remuneration, exits and boardroom disputesDrafting and negotiating employment contracts, executive service agreements, bonus arrangements and workplace policiesAdvising on restrictive covenants, confidentiality obligations, team moves and protection of business interestsAdvising multinational organisations on cross border employment issues and global workforce projectsConducting settlement negotiations and drafting settlement agreementsYou will also support the wider team with client training, business development and strategic projects.Candidate RequirementsThis role is suited to an Associate or Senior Associate with:3-6 years' PQE (Associate) or 6+ years' PQE (Senior Associate)Strong technical employment law experience across contentious and non contentious mattersExcellent drafting skills and strong commercial judgementAbility to deliver high quality client service with minimal supervisionStrong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approachAbility to manage time, billing and workload efficientlyConfidence supporting business development, networking and client relationship buildingStrong attention to detail and commitment to professional integrityCompetence using Microsoft Office, case management and time recording systemsHybrid Working & FlexibilityThe firm operates a hybrid model with Flexible, agile and part time working arrangements will be considered.Benefits30 days holiday (FTE) plus Bank HolidaysLong Service holiday awardPrivate Healthcare (post probation)Scottish Widows Pension Scheme (5% employer / 5% employee)Staff Profit Share & Individual Performance Bonus SchemeSalary sacrifice optionsLife Assurance & Permanent Health InsurancePaid CSR DayEnhanced parental leaveSubsidised gym membershipElectric car schemeDress for Your Day policyHow to ApplyDo contact Olivia Reed for a confidential discussion:Email: oliviareed@chadwicknott.co.ukPhone: 0117 917 1515 / 07711 799761At Chadwick Nott, we are committed to developing a diverse and inclusive culture as well as supporting our large client network achieve the same.
