This is a senior, outward‑facing role for someone who enjoys building revenue from scratch rather than inheriting it. You will have the freedom to shape new business activity across the UK, backed by an established operation and a clear growth agenda.
The role suits someone who likes autonomy, values credibility in front of customers, and wants their commercial impact to be visible. You will be trusted to open doors, develop relationships, and convert opportunity into long‑term value.
What you’ll be doing
- Winning new business through targeted prospecting, research, networking and direct engagement with decision‑makers
- Developing and executing a business development plan aligned to revenue targets and wider growth objectives
- Leading presentations, proposals and negotiations from first contact through to signed agreement
- Managing pipeline activity, forecasting revenue and reporting progress clearly to senior stakeholders
What you’ll need to bring
- Proven B2B business development or sales experience, ideally within the fleet or LCV sector
- Strong commercial judgement with the confidence to operate independently in a target‑driven environment
- Clear, persuasive communication skills across meetings, presentations and written proposals
- Naturally collaborative, with a client‑first and people‑focused approach
