We are looking for a dedicated PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Sutton. The school supports pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), severe learning difficulties, autism, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and complex health needs.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping pupils access meaningful learning experiences, develop communication skills and build independence at their own pace.

The Role

As a PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide personalised support throughout the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support tailored to pupils' individual needs.

• Supporting sensory activities and practical, hands-on learning experiences.

• Encouraging communication through gestures, objects of reference, visual resources and communication aids.
