Our serious injury specialist solicitors are involved in a wide range of No Win No Fee compensation claims, ranging from road traffic accidents through to claims for Accidents in the workplace.We make it easy...To discuss a no win no fee compensation claim - call our Personal Injury experts now on/Family Solicitor Required (3+ Years PQE)# Family Solicitor Required (3+ Years PQE)Salary: **£31,000 - £47,000 DOE**Closing date: **3rd July 2026**Position: **Permanent**### LOOKING TO JOIN A LEADING LAW FIRM**STRICTLY NO AGENCIES PLEASE!**### **About the Role**### **The successful candidate will report to the Head of Department and will join a highly professional and motivated team.**### **The prime role of the Family Solicitor is to earn fees by advising on a wide variety of Family and Children law matters including both private and public, and to assist in building the Family Law portfolio.**### **You are expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative, whilst communicating effectively with partners, colleagues, and clients.**### **Person Specification & Requirements:*** Minimum 3 years PQE in Family Law* Experience in advising on a variety of Family matters* Strong time-management and ability to manage own caseload* Advocacy experience is desirable but not essential* Knowledge and experience of Legal Aid* Genuine passion for Family law* Commercially minded* Personable and confident/articulate communicator* Pro-active and 'can do' attitude* Own referral source would be a distinct advantage* Panel membership or working towards would be a distinct advantage### **Key** **Responsibilities****:*** Responsible for earning fees by actively working towards individual and departmental targets and objectives as set by HOD+ Private and Public matters+ Domestic Abuse+ Non-molestation* CCMS applications, amendments and POAs* Arrange and attend meetings with clients ensuring a professional service and excellent client care standards* Negotiate with clients and other professionals to secure agreed objectives* Attend court hearings, prison visits, police stations and any other off-site requirements* Provide advocacy* Draft legal documents and various court applications* Legal Aid work* Monitoring, actioning, and updating various electronic portals* Research and analyse documents and case law to ensure the accuracy of advice and procedure* Build key relationships with the firm's client base and wider external industry* Keep up to date with changes and developments in the law by reading journals and law reports* Be commercially minded and contribute towards the growth and development of the Firm by identifying opportunities to expand business* Provide advice and guidance to other employees throughout the Firm, including supervising and training trainee solicitors and paralegals* Adhering to processes and procedures as directed by the HOD* Undertake specific training when required and have overall responsibility towards self-development* Be actively involved in ensuring compliance in Lexcel and other standards* Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm's and client's documentation and information by complying with GDPR* Be actively involved in business development activities and networking* Undertake any other duties as required by the Directors as necessary for other fee earners and employees### **Benefits and Remuneration****:*** Competitive salary (£31,000 to £47,000 DOE)* 25 Days Holiday plus public bank holidays (increasing up to 30 with length of service)* Additional Birthday Holiday\** Optional 1 day per week home working\** Free Parking* Staff social and team-building events* Auto-enrolment workplace pension\** Professional development and training opportunities, including webinars* Paid study leave\** Practicing Certificate renewed annually\** Breakfast Clubs* Free eye tests\** Employee recognition scheme* Friendly, supportive, team environment* Interesting and meaningful work* A wealth of experienced solicitors to help guide your career*\* Terms and Conditions apply*### **Closing date:**### **Friday 3 July 202****6**## WHAT TO DO NEXT...### **Please apply with your curriculum vitae using our online application below.**[/fusion\_text][/fusion\_builder\_column][/fusion\_builder\_row][/fusion\_builder\_container]2026-06-16T10:12:12+01:0099%Legal knowledgeK and SD3 weeks ago#### Stress free experienceI would particularly like to thank Annie Hayes for making everything so smooth and stress free.
