REF: 310) Female Support Worker – Swansea
Contract: Permanent subject to successful probationary period
Location: Swansea
Working pattern: 16 hours weekly
Predominantly Monday – Friday, May be the occasional weekend work
Pay: £15.80 per hour

Our client is a friendly, sociable woman with a good sense of humour who sustained a traumatic brain injury and experiences ongoing cognitive, memory and some physical difficulties. She lives at home with her husband and enjoys spending time with family, shopping and accessing the community.
We are seeking a warm, patient and reliable Support Worker who can build a positive, trusting relationship with the client, provide gentle prompting and reassurance, and support her to maintain independence, routine and meaningful community engagement.
A full induction and training will be provided. This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check
Essential requirements
* Full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle for work purposes with business cover insurance.
* Experience of supporting an individual with an acquired brain injury.
* Patient, reliable and flexible approach.
* Ability to build and maintain a positive professional relationship with the client and her family.
* Ability to work collaboratively with the wider team.
* Willingness to register with Social Care Wales, if not already registered.
