Site Agent £55,000 - £70,000 (DoE) + Vehicle./Allowance + Package Yorkshire & Humber Region Sector: Civil Engineering / Highways / Flood Defense / Infrastructure My Client is a well-established and highly respected civil engineering contractor delivering a wide range of infrastructure and groundwork projects across Yorkshire and Humberside. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to join their operational team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and technically capable individual looking to work on varied civil engineering schemes within a reputable business that values quality, safety, and career progression. THE ROLE As Site Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of civil engineering projects from inception through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and work closely with engineering and commercial teams to ensure smooth project delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Managing day-to-day site operations across civil engineering projects • Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to programme • Coordinating labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors • Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality compliance • Liaising with clients, site teams, and senior management • Reviewing technical drawings and ensuring accurate implementation on site • Producing site documentation and progress reporting • Supporting project delivery from planning through to completion REQUIREMENTS • Previous experience working as a Site Agent within civil engineering • Degree qualified or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline • Technically minded with a strong engineering background • Experience delivering infrastructure, highways, drainage, groundwork, or general civils • Strong organisational and communication skills • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications desirable • Full UK driving license WHAT’S ON OFFER • Competitive salary of £55,000 – £70,000 • Vehicle or car allowance • Comprehensive benefits package • Long-term career progression opportunities • Exposure to a variety of civil engineering projects across the region • Stable permanent position with a growing contractor Apply now with an up to date CV or contact Dan Standish at Kenton Black (Leeds) for more information
