KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.   Job Title: Carpentry Trainer/Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) Location: Cambridgeshire - Centre based, with travel required for learner workplace visits Salary: up to £50,000 (Salary depending on qualifications and experience) Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Bonus opportunities, Pension + more Type: Full Time, Permanent  Essential Criteria: Must hold a minimum of a Level 2 NVQ in Carpentry coupled with extensive Carpentry experience. Must hold timber-frame carpentry experience. Must have worked on new-build developments, with 1st and 2nd fix experience. Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively. Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people. Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.Duties: Teach/assess learners working towards Carpentry and Timber Frame Apprenticeships (Level 3), across practical and theoretical competencies. Ensure training materials are up to date and in-line with organisational and regulatory standards. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs. Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
